The 12” Cordless Chainsaw by CAT® DG230 provides enhanced power and performance for tree trimming and yard maintenance projects through advanced technology and design features. With its High-Efficiency Brushless Motor, this chainsaw offers 25% more power, 50% longer run time, and a 10 times longer lifespan compared to brushed-motor alternatives. The 12” bar and chain make it suitable for a wide range of tasks including tree trimming, pruning, branch removal, as well as felling narrow trees and cutting firewood.

Tool-Free Chain Tensioning allows for easy adjustment to the perfect tension for each cut without the need for extra tools. The chainsaw also features a Heavy Load Indicator to alert users to excessive cutting demands, and a Chain Brake for added safety in case of kickback or unexpected hazards. The included Blade Sheath provides protection during storage to prevent accidental contact with the chain.

Despite its powerful performance, the chainsaw remains manageable with a weight of under 9 lbs. and a compact body design, reducing fatigue during extended periods of use and enabling easy manipulation in various cutting positions. Maintenance is simplified with Auto Chain Lubrication to ensure smooth performance by preventing wear and keeping parts oiled.
